Another Day at the Park

Awoke to another day of sunshine and 75 degree weather. We could get use to this. Crawled out of bed at 8:30 after a long and wild night at the drive-in theater. Took in a double feature at a 9 screen drive-in. I guess we could have seen all nine movies, since they had three different show times. It has been a while since either of us have been to a drive-in....since I was a teenager, Andy as a kid. Brought back great memories and was real crowded with families.
Today's spring training game was played at Phoenix Municipal Stadium with the Oakland Athletics vs the Angels. Andy took these great action pictures. The A's won, 4-2. This crowd was different from our last game, mainly because it was on Saturday. Younger, more drinking, louder crowd of over 6000.
Met a young family camping next to us who are also traveling the US as we are. They have a large black lab and 5 children, ages one to twelve, who are being "road schooled" and given these wonderful opportunities to see first hand history, geography, and different cultures. They are on the road for about 8 months, before heading back home to Wisconsin, when all the snow is gone.
