This is the only place in the country where FOUR states meet. The junction of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico is marked by a monument bearing each state's seal. The monument is on Navajo land in the state of New Mexico. When we arrived, with four other cars turning on the road, we met this fence and sign. What a disappointment! There is only one road, in and out. What kind of construction can be going on with a monument at an junction????
We had stayed an extra day in the Cortez, Colorado area just for a "down" day. Did cleaning, laundry, shopping, and watched a lot of FREE cable TV.
